Clay and Tim Lambert

Clay and Tim Lambert

My brother-in-law, Clay, went home to be with the Lord this week. He was 56 years old. He found out mid-December that he had kidney cancer that had metastasized into his brain and lungs.

He was a single father who raised his two children mostly by himself. He was very involved in the lives of several of his nieces and nephews as they were growing up; he was a good person. And he was fun to be around.Continue Reading

What? Me? Complain?!

What? Me? Complain?!
Why is it we like to complain? Do we just want people to feel sorry for us? . . . or to see if we can convince others to side with us?

I believe that most of us think complaining is not a big deal, just a little sin with little consequence. In BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) we are studying the life of Moses this year. The ones rated R because of sexual content are also explicit, so I won’t see them because I want to follow scriptural guidelines. I believe the Bible is the final authority for all truth and practice. What? The Bible talks about R-rated movies? . . .  about Fifty Shades of Grey?

About Me

Lambert family

My name is Lyndsay Lambert. When I was a young mom with four children five-years-old and younger, I cried out to God for an older woman who would come alongside me, maybe put her arms around me and just tell me, “This too shall pass.” More about me.
