If Not Supermom, Then What?

August 24, 2015 By Lyndsay Lambert Leave a Comment

If not Supermom, then what?I don’t know about you, but when we were raising our children, I really wanted to be Supermom! I tried and tried, only to be disappointed in myself over and over again. But, as I mentioned last week, Supermom doesn’t exist!

During one of the times when I was beating myself up for not being the perfect mother, God gave me a special time in His word. He blessed me by leading me to some specific scriptures that helped me understand that I didn’t have to be Supermom and that He had the answers for me. I share these with you in hopes that they can be an encouragement to you as they were to me.

Debunking the Myth of Supermom

There will be times when we have to take care of ourselves in order to be able to take care of those whom God has put under our care.Continue Reading

Is It Ever “All About Me”?

Is it Ever "All About Me"?

Have you ever watched the reality television show, Bridezilla? I am not a fan of reality shows, but periodically I see bits and pieces of this show. I am always appalled by the selfishness portrayed by the brides! Ugh.

Yes, I’ve heard. The wedding is supposed to be the bride’s day. But what about the guy? Isn’t it his day too? If he wasn’t involved, there would be no wedding taking place!Continue Reading

About Me

Lambert family

My name is Lyndsay Lambert. When I was a young mom with four children five-years-old and younger, I cried out to God for an older woman who would come alongside me, maybe put her arms around me and just tell me, “This too shall pass.” More about me.
